Use the search bar on the homepage, or browse by category and district. You can filter results by price, location, and item attributes like brand or model.
Open the ad and use the Chat button to message the seller directly, or call/WhatsApp them if they've made their number public on the ad.
Ads marked "Negotiable" are open to offers — message the seller through chat to discuss. Ads with a fixed price are sold as listed unless the seller agrees otherwise.
Tap the heart icon on any ad to add it to your Favorites. You'll find all your saved ads under "Favorites" once logged in.
Click "Post Ad", choose a category and location, add photos and a description, then submit. Every ad is reviewed before it goes live.
New and edited ads go through a short moderation check before appearing publicly. This usually takes a few hours.
Go to "My Ads", then choose Edit or Delete on the listing. Editing an active ad sends it back for a quick re-review.
Use "Bump / Feature this ad" from your ad's page to promote it to the top of search results for a period of time.
Click "Post Ad" or the profile icon to open the sign-up form. You'll verify your account with a one-time code sent to your email.

Membership plans raise your monthly ad-posting allowance and unlock discounted promotion pricing, billed via bank transfer.

BuySell.lk uses bank transfer only. Submit your transfer reference and our staff will verify and activate it, usually within one business day.
